JUNIOR CATEGORY DESIGN MANAGER (GRAPHIC)

Do you have 7+ years’ graphic design experience for womenswear from fashion companies and with people management skills? Willing to join a leading high street womenswear brand in Beijing, China? Then plz. check this role.

Currently, we’re looking for a Jr. Category Design Manager (graphic) for ONLY – a leading high street womenswear fashion brand of Bestseller Fashion Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of graphic designers.
• Collaborate and brainstorm on specified strategic design directions in corporation with Creative Directors and Category Design Managers
• In charge of your collections’ graphic design according to the newest trends and brand demographic
• In charge of label designs and branding related materials
• In charge of graphic and trend presentations for sales meetings and to higher management
• Manage all trend material. Pre and post collection creations
• Close cooperation with Design and Buying teams in Beijing.
• Research upcoming graphic trends and create seasonal trend reports.
• Analyze sales figures and reflect timely on graphic proposals.
• Train and monitor graphic teams creative and technical knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and above, major in graphic/fashion design(mandatory).
• Minimum 6-7 years’ experience on graphic designer position in high street company (or freelancing, with proven record)
• Some degree of people management experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office and Adobe InDesign. Ideally good hand-drawing skills as well
• Independent, well organized and interested in fashion.
• Used to working with tight deadlines and can work under pressure.
• Good commercial understanding, team player, and good at expressing ideas.
• Good communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
• Fluent in English both in spoken and written.
• Willing to live and work in Beijing.
