Job Responsibility:
1. Tender
- Develop category procurement strategy for the DEC team, working to drive procurement volume through category with preferred suppliers.
- Conduct short to middle period tender by different categories or different brands by creates reasonable tender process, supplier evaluation, supplier report, etc.
- Be responsible for the tender result and keep follow up with internal and external customer for supplier long list maintain.
- Drive stakeholder satisfaction through identifying value add and continuous improvement opportunities within the procure to pay process.
2. Market research
- Attend the market exhibition or training to do market research, deeply know the market trends for each category.
- Create new material library, do the material, and market trends knowledge share to designer, to ensure all designer can keep pace with the times.
- Search for new suppliers based on the new material and new trends, deliver creative idea of material and technology in each category when they need.
- Create new trends, new material and new technology report to designer and DD in real time based.
3. Cost control in tender phase
- Create a "Should-Cost" model applicable to the category to challenge supplier pricing based on cost breakdown and/or market price data points only in the tender.
- Deliver procurement savings by conducting strategic sourcing activity including developing category strategies, evaluating supplier proposals, conducting supplier negotiations, and developing source selection recommendations.
- Optimize and manage costs continuously: promote new materials, new technologies, new structure of the alternative and introduction.
4. Quality Management in tender phase
- Establish supplier quality management system through IPS feedback; evaluate and audit supplier quality management capability.
- Create and implement furniture quality standard and requirements together with IPS.
- Control furniture quality together with IPS in tender test phase
- Get the feedback from IPSS for test store, to make sure the improvement of supplier.
- Do the site audit for each supplier frequently, and create report based on the site visit.
5. Supplier and contract management in tender phase
- Review and evaluate supplier performance based on quality and cost.
- Establish and implement supplier-purchasing strategy.
- Create supplier database: based on the business needs to create, change, terminate related supplier.
- Managing supplier contract creation, approval, administration and compliance to maximize financial and operational performance and minimize risk.
Your qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree and above, major is not limited.
- At least 5 years sourcing experience from multinational companies in fashion or retail industry.
- Negotiation: Prepare detailed negotiation plans for negotiations of strategic importance and is able to react to upcoming arguments of suppliers, leads negotiations of significant strategic value or with high complexity, effectively communicates throughout the negotiation process including results
- Communication: Demonstrates the ability to deliver high impact formal presentations tailored to diverse audiences and explains sensitive business matters and highly complex issues clearly and persuasively
- Native Chinese speaker with excellent English skills both in written and spoken.
- Internal Process Knowledge: specific knowledge of core processes to identify opportunities for improvement of processes.
- A good team player, with demonstrated analytical decision-making skills and creative thought process ability.
- Some travel activity must be expected to support projects.
