MENSWEAR DESIGNER

Location: Shanghai, China

Are you a creative Designer with 3+ years of experience in designing business casual menswear? Willing to join a leading high street menswear brand in Shanghai, China? Then pls. check this role.

Currently, we’re looking for a (Senior) Menswear Designer for Jack & Jones – a leading high street menswear brand of Bestseller Fashion Group China. For more info about the brand, pls. visit www.jackjones.com.cn

Key Responsibilities:

1. You will, together with Category Design Manager, be fully responsible for the success of the brand, sales achievement, and growth.
2. In cooperation with Category Design Manager constantly improving the category: Pinpoint and enhance weaknesses in the category and fabric quality. Attend development fittings, proactively provide focused input to ensure further production processes run smoothly.
3. Create 4 main collections and 2-4 express collections a year
4. Trend research, including travels to major cities.
5. Create style design sheets according to style budget, follow up that your ideas on design sheet are followed.
6. Make sure that design deadlines are kept.
7. Work closely with buying team and pattern maker team
8. Constantly upgrade fabric quality, fitting and product to meet market demands.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s (or above) degree with major in fashion design.
2. Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
3. At least 3+years’ experience within menswear design
4. Excellent in using Adobe Illustrator (a must), Photoshop and MS Office
5. Very good commercial understanding
6. Good communication and presentation skills, a good team player.
7. Well organized, used to work with deadline, and can work under pressure.
