We are now looking for an experienced and skilled business controller to Husqvarna's Sales Operations.

Location: Værløse near Copenhagen.

Team and department

You will be part of the sales company management team for Husqvarna Forest and Garden Business Unit in Denmark. As a business controller in the region of Northern and Eastern Europe, you will, in addition to the location interactions with your own team, have lots of contact with the regional controller, the other business controllers in the region as well as the other Group divisions in Denmark.


In this role, you will be responsible for executing financial and business control of the local business unit. This includes controlling and financial planning to meet the company’s targets regarding growth and profitability. It also includes statutory reporting externally and internally to meet regulatory requirements and achieve a complete set of financial numbers for the business unit.

You will be a business partner to the Danish company, creating impact at scale through business insights. You will also be a business sparring partner to the Head of Country regarding day-to-day operation.

Over time, you have the possibility to grow into a country officer role for the Danish company. We are looking for growth-oriented colleagues, who are willing to accelerate their learning path and thrive in a dynamic environment.

You will report directly to the Head of Country.


  • Execute business control for the local business unit.
  • Responsible for overseeing and contributing to the accounting for Denmark.
  • Ensure timely reporting of financial data externally (VAT, annual reports, intrastate, etc.)

And internally (month-end close, quarter-end close and year-end close)

  • Work as bridge between local sales operation and the central finance functions.
  • Work with cost competitiveness/optimization and ensure cost control across the local business unit.
  • Support the country manager with business analyses and planning to develop the business strategy to deliver the expected profitable growth for Husqvarna Group.
  • Work closely with the country manager and the entire management team to ensure alignment on customer priorities.
  • Support business with detailed financial analysis and monitoring by sector/product category and customer.
  • Take responsibility for the financial forecast and drive the local budget process.
  • Work with continuous improvements, including process development, financial tools, and implementation to drive efficiency.
  • Coordinate local HR aspects in cooperation with Regional HR functions.
  • Point of contact for GDPR and other regulatory reporting for Denmark.

  • 3+ years of business controlling experience.
  • Relevant education, preferably a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree. Alternatively, relevant experience in similar disciplines.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
  • Good record of accomplishments of customer-focused business control, B2B and B2C.
  • Knowledge of local tax and VAT in addition to local accounting standards and IFRS.
  • Previous experience of process development / continuous improvements and change management.
  • Project management skills (i.e., initiate, execute, and follow up on projects.)
