Based at the GARDENA office in Værløse outside Copenhagen, we are now searching for a Nordics Digital Manager to support the Nordic sales and marketing organization as well as key E-tail partners.

The role

The expectations for the role is to analyze and assess the existing Nordic market in order to identify openings and online opportunities as well as to operate, develop and lift the existing online business to the next level. This from both the internal side (websites, newsletters, CRM, SEA, SEO, reviews and bannering) as well as the external side, securing optimized existing content with the major online E-tail partners and improve current conversion rates. The expected time distribution between these two areas is currently estimated at 40/60.

It is expected that the you advise sales managers on the online-status of their key-accounts, in addition, you must explore and develop new online business opportunities.

You will be responsible for general content management, including creation, maintenance and quality assurance, in order to ensure optimal representation of GARDENA's products, campaigns and positioning in the market.

You will report directly to the regional Marketing Director and work closely with the Nordic local Marketing Managers, Key Account Managers and the regional Digital Manager to ensure quality content in and execution of all online activities.

Travel activity must be expected within the Nordic region.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess the current E-tail market and outline potential.
  • Proactively develop and maintain the Gardena’s brand position and awareness in the Nordic region.
  • Establish strong collaborations with and assess the key needs of online partners and strengthen Gardena’s ability to support their needs.
  • Support and optimize sales conversion through online resellers in close collaboration with the Key Account Managers and Sales Managers.
  • Generate content, maintain and edit product descriptions, marketing texts and prepare visuals for selected audiences and media.
  • Responsible for on-brand marketing of priority products in collaboration with partners in the Nordic organization.
  • Analyze and optimize the Nordic distribution by for example optimizing GARDENA's position on reseller websites.
  • Ensure implementation of relevant content on E-tail partner platforms.
  • Take responsibility for the campaign management, incl. local email marketing campaigns, and coordination in collaboration with online key accounts.
  • Work in close corporation with the local Marketing Managers.
  • Be a focal point for all relevant internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Product Management, customers, etc.).
  • Continuously contribute to the maintenance and development of GARDENA's corporate website.

Profile

We are looking for an ambitious and experience marketeer with a high level of independence and entrepreneurial mindset that strives in a culture of freedom under responsibility.

  • Digitally savvy specialist with direct experience in online marketing and content development.
  • Analytical and data driven with a strong commercial outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross- functional stakeholders across markets, cultures and organizational boundaries.
  • Dynamic and energetic as well as natural team player.
  • Service-oriented and sales-driven digital native with an analytical mindset.

Qualifications

  • Commercial education on Bachelor or Master level.
  • Most importantly minimum 3 - 5 year’s documented experience from equivalent position.
  • Experienced and capable of servicing and driving key accounts.
  • Excellent listener, strong and experienced communicator verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate seamlessly in all Scandinavian languages ​​as well as in English.
