Reporting line: Division Manager-Store Design & Construction

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Good understanding of the complexity in the Chinese and western fashion market, and be able to support all projects with their knowledge during the creative process. And Support Retail with development of design the strategic plans and participate in the implementation
  2. Drive innovative solutions / initiatives to deliver on the business case, and responsible for creative concept development of commercial brand stores in or outside China based on deeply understanding of fashion industry
  3. Work closely with Brand design managers or other senior designers to create appropriate commercial concepts for each brand ensure project design concept follows brand standards and best practices. And Ensure that the designer managers leadership delivers the required results and achieves/exceeds the customers expectation levels, and Cost and budget in line with development
  4. Work with external design agency and concept development manager to make sure ideas can match well with brand requests and fashion market in China
  5. Co-lead local negotiations alongside with procurement as well as on-going vendor mgmt.., providing adequate risk and control architecture, in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations, solutions is done by right quality, efficiency and with good service
  6. Work with Design Manager on designer's career development; provide training and professional guidance on technical and professional aspects


  1. Bachelor Degree or higher education
  2. Minimum 10 years retail design experience, primarily in retail, working on large scale retail malls and public spaces
  3. You have retail design experience from China, understand the Chinese retail market
  4. Good at planning and making effect drawing
  5. Good English both spoken and written
  6. Good level of personal credibility, customer relationship management, networking
  7. Ability to communicate effectively across organizations
  8. Experience in driving improvement and development
  9. Ability to balance resource demands from multiple internal customers
  10. Experience of managing performance combined with profound service mindset
